Introduction: Been playing guitar since the 60's and have done everything from Big band to hard rock. I've always had an affection for the blues and grew up on Eric Clapton. His early work with John Mayal and later with Cream is the major influence in my style.
What KIND of Blues do you like best? What other genres of music do you like?: Chicago style
Who are you favorite Blues Artists of all time? Favorite ALL GENRES?: Eric Clapton, Robben Ford, Albert King and Gary Moore. Favorite guitar player who won 6 years in a row as the top guitar player in Guitar Player's Magazine: Eric Johnson
Do you play an instrument or sing? Are you in a band?: I play an old 1968 Gibson SG and a 2004 Fender Strat, and a couple acoustic guitars. I do sing, but my voice is probably more pop oriented. I play in a classic rock band called "Sound Advice". See myspace link for gig info.
Ever been on one of those Blues Cruises? (Daily or extended!): Nope.
How far do/would you travel to see a good band?: I've gone 180 miles round trip in one night on a motorcycle before to see Three Dog Night
